Khalifa Omar (Ra.) of Service and justice

Feroze Daylami was the governor of a province.  The death of Khalifa Omar.  When news reached him, he ate flour bread with honey.  He was called to the Caliph's court.  As he was entering the Caliph's court, a Quraysh youth was also entering.  As the road was narrow, Hazrat Firoz Daylami got angry and punched the young man on the nose.  After being punched, his nose burst and blood came out and he reached the Caliph's court in that state.  When the Caliph asked for the identity of the attacker, he pointed to Daylami.  Hazrat Omar  Looking at Feroze, he said, Feroze!  You have to take revenge.  This young man will punch you in the nose just like that.  Hazrat Daylami accepted the Caliph's words without hesitation and turned his nose towards the young man.  And he too got ready to punch.  The Caliph pointed at the young man and said, Son!  hold on  First, let me tell you what I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say.  He said - Tonight the false prophet Aswad Anasi was killed and a good servant of Allah Firoz Daylami killed him.  After hearing this hadith of the Prophet, will you agree to take revenge?  After hearing this Naozwan said, I have forgiven him.  Then Firoz Daylami said, I also gave him my sword, horse and thirty thousand dirhams.

Omar Ra.  He said, son!  If you forgive and get reward and get so many gifts.

Once Hazrat Omar  was crossing the market.  He had a whip in his hand.  At that time Hazrat Salma RA.  He was passing by somewhere.  Note that although her name was Salma, she was a male companion.  The Khalifa jokingly gave him a light blow with the whip.  The whip only touched one edge of his clothes.

When Khalifa met Hazrat Salma the next year, he said, Salma!  Do you want to do Hajj?  Hazrat Salma  He answered positively.  Hazrat Omar  He took him home and gave him 600 dirhams, saying, "These dirhams will be spent on Hajj and this is in return for the whipping I gave you last year."  Hearing this, he said, Amirul Mumineen!  I don't remember that and never did.  The Khalifa replied, "But I have not forgotten it."  That is, the whole year has kept the matter uncomfortable, why did he go to hurt her jokingly?

Where can you find such a conscious and insafger ruler?

Syria was conquered during the reign of Hazrat Umar.  On this basis he came into contact with the Caesar of Rome.  Letters were also exchanged occasionally.  Once his wife Hazrat Umm Kulsoom RA.  He sent some perfumes to the Kaiser's wife as a gift.  The Kaiser's wife was happy and sent jewels in return.  When this news reached the ears of the Caliph, he asked Umm Kulsum.  He said, ``Atar was yours, but Kased carried it, he was a public man.  His salary is paid from Baitul Mal.  So you have no right over that gem.  Saying this, he deposited those precious jewels in the Baitul Mall and gave some gift to his wife from his own pocket.

One dark night, Hazrat Omar.  He left the room and disappeared to one side.  Hazrat Talha RA.  Seeing him, he became worried.  He thought, see what he does.  Do what you think.  He followed the Khalifa and noticed that he entered a room and after a while came out and entered another room.  Hazrat Talha RA.  Bada got worried and came to that house in the morning.  He saw a blind man and a crippled old woman sitting in the house.  He said to the old woman, what happened?  Who comes to your house at night?  What does he do?  The old woman said, that man has been looking after us for many days.  He cleans even the garbage in our house.  After listening to the old woman, Hazrat Talha RA.  He put his hand on his forehead and said, "Talha, may your misfortune be yours!"  You are Omar's ra.  Want to find fault?
