Proximity to Muhammad (SAW) paradise

If a believer is asked, who is the dearest person in this world to you?  His answer would be without hesitation - Beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

If a believer is asked, what is your greatest desire in Paradise?  All believers will have the same answer - the concord of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam.

The longing of the believer's heart - the closeness of the beloved Prophet in life and in death.  To be enlivened by the ideals of the Beloved Prophet throughout his life and to have his presence in Paradise after death - there is no greater aspiration for a believer.  We get this lesson from the life of the Sahaba.  Rabi'a Ibn Ka'b Aslami RA.  One of those Khoshanseeb Companions, who belonged to the Companions of Suffa.  He left everything in the world at the door of the Prophet to learn religion.  Once the light-horizon of fortune was opened for him.  Rabia Ra gave that description.  himself  He said-

I used to spend the night with the Holy Prophet.  I used to bring ablution water for him and perform other necessary services.  One night I brought him water for ablution.  Suddenly a sweet voice entered my ears;  The Prophet said:

 سَلْنِي.

What do you want, ask me Rabia!

 Then I said to myself-

Messenger of God!  My request to you is your presence in Paradise.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

 أَو غَيْرَ ذلِكَ.

 Want it, or something else?

 I said-

(Messenger of Allah!) I have no desire other than this.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

 فَأَعِنِّي عَلَى نَفْسِكَ بِكَثْرَةِ السّجُودِ.

So help me in this matter by prostrating more.  -Sahih Muslim, Hadith 489;  Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 1320

The meeting of the Prophet in paradise!  The closeness of Priyanvi in the afterlife!  What can be greater luck!  What can be more fortunate than this?  If you want to ask, you have to ask like this.  This is the unspoken desire of the believing heart.  This is the absolute and ultimate hope of the believer.  The heart of the believer is occupied by the love of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the holy longing for his companionship in Paradise.  Many such incidents are shining in hadiths and history books.

There is another such incident of Abdullah Ibn Masud RA.  Listen, in His own words.  He said-

One night I prayed a few rakats of Nafal.  At the end of the prayer, I praised Allah.  I recited salutations upon the Holy Prophet.  Then I started to pray.  Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept saying:

 سَلْ تُعْطَهْ, سَلْ تُعْطَهْ.

Ask (from Allah), it will be given to you.  You make dua, your dua will be answered.

Ibn Masud RA.  Said, I prayed.  After that I came home from the mosque.  At dawn, Abu Bakr Siddique RA.  came to my house and asked, what dua did you make tonight?

I said, I made this dua-

O Allah!  I ask you for faith, after which there is no return to disbelief.  I want a blessing that will never end.  And my (ultimate) wish is to join the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in eternal paradise.  -Musnad Abu Yala, Hadith 16, 17;  Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith 7067;  Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 4340

Who will get closeness to Priyanvi in Jannat?

Companions have been blessed with the companionship of the Prophet in this world.  In his holy darshan he gained coolness of eyes, tranquility of heart.  We have not been fortunate enough to see the prophet in this world due to the divine arrangement of Allah Ta'ala.  But why can't I be with the beloved prophet in the afterlife?  Paradise will not have the opportunity to gain the companionship of the Prophet?  No, there is no reason to despair.  Our Prophet did not disappoint us.  There is a limitless opportunity for us to be with him in Paradise.  The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, knew that his unborn Ummah would yearn for his companionship, sacrificing their lives to gain his presence.  So He has gifted some deeds, which if adopted will easily attain our desired good luck.  Let's know those Nooran deeds and gain the presence of the Beloved in Paradise through the deeds!

 1.  Prostrate more and more

We have read the story of Rabi'a ibn Ka'b Aslami.  There the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him twice, "Ask of me whatever you wish."  Rabia Ra.  Answered, My first and last wish is one - Your presence in Paradise.  Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

 فَأَعِنِّي عَلَى نَفْسِكَ بِكَثْرَةِ السّجُودِ.

So help me by prostrate more.  -Sahih Muslim, Hadith 489;  Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 1320

So one of the ways to get close to the Holy Prophet in Paradise is to prostrate to Allah more and more.  The amount of muakkadah is prescribed in Fard, Wajib and Sunnah.  These cannot be increased or decreased.  So it is our duty to perform more nafal prayers.

2.  Taking guardianship of orphans

Sahl Ibn Sa'd RA.  Narrated, Once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made a small gap between the middle and the index finger.  Then he pointed to these two fingers and said-

I and the one who takes charge of the orphan will be like this (side by side) in Paradise.  -Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 5304, 6005;  Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 5150;  Jame' Tirmidhi, Hadith 1918

 The interpreters of hadith say:

Taking responsibility for an orphan means providing him with other clothes.  Teaching him manners and religious rules.  Also, taking care of orphans in all matters of religion and world.  -Dalilul Falihin 2/80

Those who support the orphans will be with the Prophet in Paradise like two fingers.  What is the meaning of 'like two fingers'?  Qurtubi Rah.  said-

This means, those who take care of the orphans will be with the Prophet in Paradise.  -Almufhim 6/614

 3.  Raising a daughter

Anas Ibn Malek RA.  Narrated, One day the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said-

The person who supports two daughters will be in Paradise like that.  (i.e. as the middle and index fingers are side by side.) - Jame' Tirmidhi, Hadith 1914;  Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2631;  Al-Adabul Mufrad, Bukhari, Hadith 894

 4.  Taking responsibility for raising sisters

Anas Ibn Malek RA.  Narrated, Once the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, pointed to the middle finger and Shahadat finger and said-

Whoever supports two daughters or two sisters or three daughters or three sisters, until they are married or he dies, I and he will be like this (side by side) in Paradise.  - Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith 447;  Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 12498

5.  Possess good character

Abdullah Ibn Amr RA.  He said, once the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

Shall I not inform you of the one who will be dearest and nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection?

Sahabaye Keram remained silent.  The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked the same question two or three times.  Then they said, O Messenger of Allah!  Say sure.  He said, He is the person whose character is the most beautiful.  -Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 6735;  Al-Adabul Mufrad, Hadith 272

 6.  Loving the Prophet

Abdullah Ibn Masud RA.  Said, A person asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, O Messenger of God!  What do you say about that person, who loves any community, but could not get along with them (ie not on their level).  The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied:

He who loves (in this world) will be with them (in the Hereafter).  -Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 6169;  Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2640

Anas Ibn Malek RA.  Said, A person asked the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, when will the Day of Judgment take place?

He said, What have you prepared for the Resurrection?

The man said, I had not made any preparations for it;  However, I love Allah and His Messenger.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

(In this time) whom you love (in the Hereafter) you will be with him.

Anas Ra.  He said, "We are so happy to hear these words of Nabiji that we have never been so happy in anything else in the world."

Anas Ra.  He also said, I love the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr and Umar.  So hopefully, I will be with them in Jannah, even though I could not do deeds like them.  -Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 3688;  Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2639

What is the demand of love?

He who loves him loves everything and tries to imitate him in everything.  Following the thoughts of loved ones.  Imitating his manners, customs.  The Companions loved the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) more than their lives.  So they followed the Prophet fully.  He used to imitate the religion and ideals brought by him thoroughly.  This is the demand of love.  Apart from this, the claim of love is nothing but vain self-satisfaction.  Allah says:

Say (O Prophet! To the people), if you love Allah, then follow me, then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.  Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.  - Surah Ale Imran (3): 31

Anas Ibn Malek RA.  Said, One day the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me:

Oh boy!  If you can spend mornings and evenings in such a state that you are not envious of anyone, then do so.  This is my Sunnah.

And he who kept my circumcision alive, he loved me.  And whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise.  -Jamee Tirmidhi, Hadith 2678;  Tazimu Qadiris Salah, Hadith 714;  Muzame Awasat, Tabarani, Hadith 5991

 7.  Reciting more Darood

Abdullah Ibn Masud RA.  Narrated, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said-

Listen, whoever recites the most blessings on me will surely be the closest to me on the Day of Resurrection.  -Musnad Abu Yala, Hadith 5011;  Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba, Hadith 32447;  Jame' Tirmidhi, Hadith 484;  Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith 911

So in order to get close to the Prophet in Jannah, we should live a sin-free life, perform the obligatory deeds seriously and keep reciting more Darood Sharif.

 8.  Adopting a life of piety

Mu'adh Ibn Jabal RA.  Said, When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent him to Yemen, he went out to advance him.  Muaz ra.  While riding, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is walking and praying.  When the bequest was finished, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

 يَا مُعَاذُ إِنّكَ عَسَى أَنْ لَا تَلْقَانِي بَعْدَ عَامِي هَذَا وَلَعَلّكَ أنَ تَمُرّ

.بِمَسْجِدِي هَذَا، وَقَبْرِي

O Mu'az!  You probably won't see me again after this year.  Maybe you'll walk by my mosque, pass by my grave!  (But you won't see me.)

After hearing this, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was about to leave.  Azhor started crying.

...Then the Prophet looked back towards Madinah and said-

These people in my family feel, they are the closest people to me.  But this is not the case;  Nearest to Me is the person who lives a life of piety.  Whoever he may be and wherever he may be.  [Dr.  Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 2052, 2054;  Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith 647;  Assunnah, Ibn Abu Asim, Hadith 212;  Muzame Kabir, Tabarani 20/120-121 (241)]

 a dua

It is quoted at the beginning of the article that one night the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, said, "The dua that Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud makes today will be accepted by Allah Ta'ala."  The next day he was asked and it was revealed that that night he prayed for faith, Paradise and to be in the company of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in Paradise.  It is not only his dua that night;  Instead, he always used to make this dua.  His son Abu Ubaydah.  Said, Abbaji said one day-

I have one dua, which I never omit.

 He then mentioned this dua-

O Allah!  I ask you for faith, after which there is no return to disbelief.  I want a blessing that will never end and my last wish is to join our Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam in the highest Paradise.  -Musnad Abu Dawud Tayalisi, Hadith 338;  Marifatus Sahaba, Abu Nuaim 3/232-233, Hadith 4501;  Hilyatul Auliya 1/127

Let's continue to do the mentioned deeds in the hope of attaining the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in Paradise.  Also continue this dua.
